Angelina - Cook island
The best week I had ever had.
First we had to go for a run and it was two rounds. It is Cook Island week and we were all Excited and I was Excited because I knew a little bit of cook island words and I got to Correct my teacher with the cook Island words and it was good because she got to Learn some cook Island words and I got to learn as well. When we got to class we all sat down and then our teacher was talking about Cook island and we had to get in partners.
Next our teacher put on a cook Island Show with some Cook Island words and here are some of the cook island words Kia Orand? - Hello,
Pe’ea? - How are you, Meitaki au - I am Fine, Akape’ea Koe? - How about you, Meineke au - I am fine. They are a bit hard to say but we got it and we are going to learn all the cook island words in one week and some of us are cook Islands.
Then Mrs Kumar Put on a video and it was about cook Island words and my mum is cook Island and that is how I get some cook Island like Aere it Means hurry up. Aere ra - GoodBye, Eno’ora - Goodbye. And it's hard to say cook Island But if you are cook Island then it won’t be hard but for me it is not hard but once you get used to it easy and Now I am used to it. It is easy now.
Finally we learn it in one day. I felt so happy and great because I always want to learn to cook island but I don’t really understand cook Island. I only know a few.
This is my Cook Island post I did this a long time a go so this is my first Cook island. Thank you for reading and enjoy

Happy Birthday
On November the 7th it was my Birthday and my mum one was the 6th of November. So my mum one is before my birthday and me and my sister Nevaya, mum was going to have the same birthday. On my Birthday we went to Rainbow End and my cousin came with Nevaya to Rainbow end and we went on a roller coaster and the best part is that we got to go on the BIG!!!! Ride and the last time we went there was in 2017 August the 5th which is on my other sister Birthday she was 20 years old and in 2020 she is 23 now and I had really fun with my cousin and we did get wet because there was some water and we got wet a lot but my and Nevaya, Cousin had I most favourite ride was fires wheel I went on 5 times and Nevaya, Cousin went on 4 times and I had lots.
Next my aunt came over to Rainbow end and she was only there to pick us up but she wanted to stay for awhile and she did and we all had fun and some of my family said happy birthday to me and my sister and we had a good time at Rainbow end and I actually Missed Rainbow end and I really love everyone in my family and I really thank you for coming to my birthday and I really had fun with my family and I really want to say thank you to my older sister for a party. I forgot to invited my friends and some of the people came to my Birthday party and these people came to my birthday party because I have it seen them in a long time and I really thank you for coming to my birthday party and they had kids and I remember the kids were so little and now they are teenager so it been a long time and they came to my birthday party and I really thank you for coming to my party and then some of my family came to give us some present and there were only two people that give me and my mum, Nevaya present and the first person give us money and it was 20 $ and I already had 50$ on me so I had 80$ all together and the one of them give my mum a time watch Necklace and it was so cool that my mum really like it and then another person came to my mum and give her a gift and it was good gift for her and then we did the cake and we were going to be 9 and my mum was going to be 50 years old and we were so happy that my dad said ‘will you be 6 or 7 years old ‘’ and I was like no we are going to be nine years old and then we all started to laugh and then we all had so much fun so we did have lots of junk food but my cousin like my cake but I did it really like my cake because I did it like the taste of it and I really like some of the things that my brother made and it was so good that I can eat it a all night and then we did some fire works but it was going to Rain and it was wind so we were only going to do the speakerly and then we do the big fire works one day and that day will be on christmas eve.
How do I feel? I feel amazing and I am happy to be 9 years old. Thank you for reading this and please enjoy this.

Maori Language Week
On the 14th of September, 2020 our teacher told us to do a Maori Language Week slide but there is a little twist our teacher told us to be a teacher and we got to be in groups of 3. I was with Christian and Jessica and we were the first one done. We did about 14 slide and we did so many background that it took us about a week I will say. When we were finished our normal teacher told us to post it on our blog.

Matariki Celebrate
The Best Matariki I have ever gone to.
On friday 13 July 2020 it was Matariki. The Matariki stars names are Tupu-ā-nuku, Tupu-ā-nuku, Waitī, Waitā, Waipunā-ā-rangi , Ururangi. Those are the stars' names. We also did some Matariki posters and some Matariki stars with some paint and some white paper. The white paper was shaped like a star and it was easy but it was hard at the same time and I also went to my nan’s house because she lives in Mayberry and in the house I will just watch by the Window.
Next I will sometimes go outside to see the Matariki. When I'm there I will see someone I know and say hi to them. The next day I went to school and saw some Matariki Decoration and I was Surprise because It was amazing and Room 6 and 7 was my favorite one because they use Kebab sticks and some black and white paper and the black was for the Background and the white paper was for the Decoration they were going to do.
Then I got to answer some Question and it was fun because they told us what was the names of there Decoration and I like it and there is Kite and there is nine sisters but you can’t see the last two and I Think they are Invisible and I like Matariki because I like doing art and it is fun.
What I like about Matariki is going to my nana house and seeing some fireworks. I got something to eat when I was there and I got to see some Decoration and some cool Lights.

Lockdown
It was the first time the lockdown happened. I got very worried about it and I wanted to know what was going on.
The lockdown happened on March 26th, 2020. Another name for CoronaVirus is COVID_19. COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new strain of coronavirus. 'CO' stands for corona, 'VI' for virus, and 'D' for disease. The reason why New Zealand went under lockdown was because of the CoronaVirus. The government came up with 4 levels. At level 4 we had to stay in our own bubble so we won’t spread the Coronavirus. When we went to the shops we had to wear gloves and a face mask and some shops were closed. It all started in China in 2019. It was towards the end of November when the virus started.
Only the essential workers were allowed to go to work. Some of the parents went to work at night and it is called night shift and my mum works night shift and the people that go to work at night they will come back home at 4.00am or 5.00am. Doctors were open but you have to make appointments and you have to pay a lot of money. The police officers were at the police station to help the public if there was a need. The non essential workers who were to stay home and it includes the teachers from the school’s, dental workers and so on.
We as a family had a great time. My family and I went to my nana's house but my brother did not come. He was at home and I was so excited to go to my nana’s house because I got to see my sister Jade.

This is my poster of covid 19. i made this on 18th Monday of may 2020 and we need to stop the Coronavirus it is a situation and wash your hands before you eat so you won't get the Coronavirus and when you feel unwell stay home in bed why so you don't get other people unwell and be in contact with someone.
